The Diocese of York anticipates being awarded funding to enable a three-year appointment to the role of Parish Giving Development Officer. This is a new and significant outward‑facing post at the heart of diocesan life.
They will play a key part the Diocese’s Free Will Offer process, supporting parishes to strengthen financial sustainability and to grow generosity in support of our shared mission. Working closely with clergy, treasurers and parish officers, they will build trusting relationships, improve understanding of parish finances, and help parishes develop realistic three‑year giving plans.
The role is vital to enabling sustainable ministry, particularly across diverse and low‑income communities.
