Now the schools are back and there is a hint of autumn in the air, our thoughts turn to harvest!
Next Sunday, 20th September at 10 am, will see All Saints, Worsall celebrating the harvest.
St. Mary’s is having a centenary celebration this weekend: flowers, music, a fun trail and a chance to raise money for Barney’s Baby Bank. Church open Friday 11th, 2-7 pm, Saturday 12th (with music and fun trail) 10 am – 4 pm and Sunday 13th, 10 am for a special service of celebration with Bishop Barry and 2-5 pm to see the flowers.
Autumn also means Macmillan Coffee Mornings:
Yarm church will be holding a coffee morning on Friday 25th September, 9.30-12.30.
At Nunthorpe there will be a coffee morning in St. Mary’s Church Hall on Saturday, 26th September at 10 am.
If you know of any other Macmillan coffee mornings taking place in the Deanery please let the office know and we’ll add a new post about all the fundraisers taking place for Macmillan.
Yarm is also offering a chance to find out more about leaving a gift in your will – and offering tea and cake! September 19th, 2-4 pm at Yarm Church – please contact David Local to reserve a place (07400 380152)
Bible Conversations Teesside is underway, and a lot of churches will be offering sessions for new Christians and the curious. Amongst these we have
- Great Ayton, starting at 11 am on Tuesday 22nd September
- Stokesley (Alpha Course) starting at 7 pm on 15th September
- Nunthorpe, starting at 7 pm on Tuesday 22nd September.
