Good Friday in the Deanery

There are services taking place on Good Friday (Friday 3rd April 2026) at many different times of day throughout the Deanery. If you’d like to attend one you would be most welcome! Please check your home parish first, as this isn’t an exhaustive list.

7:30 am, Newton under Roseberry – Morning Prayer 

9:45 am, Great Ayton (Christ Church) – Family service in the Hall with children’s craft activities and Hot Cross Buns 

10:00 am, Kirklevington – Meditation on the 7 last words of Jesus from the cross 

10:00 am, Ingleby Greenhow – Walk of Witness from the Dudley Arms to St Andrew’s followed by short service of reflection at 10.15am  

10:00 am, Yarm – Ecumenical Stations of the Cross 

10:00 am, Brookfield – Family Easter Crafts 

10:00 am, Nunthorpe – ‘Cross Purposes’ family Easter Crafts at the Church Hall. 

11:30/45 am  Great Ayton (Churches Together) –  Walk of Witness starting at the Methodist Church  

12.00 pm, Brookfield  – An Hour at the Cross 

1.00 pm, Stainton – An Hour at the Cross 

1:30 pm, Great Ayton (Christ Church) – 90 minutes before the Cross – reflective service
